Solicitors charges are not cheap and we
do not pretend that they are. There is an old joke that many solicitors
could not afford to instruct themselves! We believe in charging a
reasonable fee for the work carried out. In some cases we can give
you a fixed quotation at your first appointment.
Where this is not possible we will tell you our hourly charging rate
and give you the best estimate we can. For many matters we will not
make any charge for your first interview. We are more than happy to
take your case on legal aid 'public funding' if you qualify; but be warned that legal
aid is now much more rarely available than it once was.
VAT is added to our charges (although work carried out for our clients outside
the European Community may be exempt). Our VAT number is 227 1766 59.
